Year after year, the National Council for Science, Technology and Technological Innovation (CONCYTEC) organizes the National Innovation Week, a space to share knowledge, experiences, networking, and results on the different activities and the management of the R&D&i that are being developed in Peru.
This year, different professionals from different countries such as Korea, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay, among others, participated.
Different institutions and professionals participate in the plenary sessions, workshops, forums, and other activities that offer valuable information to the attendees, which allow them to see practices and innovation in different contexts and scenarios.
Participation of Mertz Peru
For several years, the professionals of the Mertz Peru team have actively participated in these events, as attendees and/or as speakers or exhibitors.
In this year 2022, Yahir Delzo, Manager of Innovation and Transformation of Mertz Peru, participated in two spaces:
Seminar: Strengthening of capacities - Presentation of Tool Boxes for the management of CTI in Regions of the country, within the framework of cooperation with the UK.
Workshop: Technological Surveillance: tools to know the competitors.
Seminar: Strengthening of capacities - Presentation of Tool Boxes for the management of CTI in Regions of the country, within the framework of cooperation with the United Kingdom.
The presentation and exhibition are based on the document "Innovation Management - User Guide on CTI in Peru" developed by Mertz Peru, through Maite Vizcarra and Yahir Delzo, and commissioned by the British Council.
This document becomes relevant because it constitutes a document that covers different aspects to take into account when a person or institution wants to start managing innovation, contemplating different elements that are collected from good practices, management documents, and the different cases based on the experience of its authors.
“The massive dissemination of this document is important, for its knowledge and understanding, after which comes a process of adoption, adaptation, or operationalization, where we can see different cases and experiences; with this, we can achieve a certain standardization and finally be experts in these issues”, mentioned Yahir Delzo.
“The importance of the document, among others, is that it is designed so that anyone can innovate; even if you did not know anything about innovation beforehand, since innovation is a faculty or discipline that can be developed, and this document can help to do so, taking into account its dissemination and use”, Maite Vizcarra mentioned.
Likewise, the complementarity of this document with two other documents sponsored by the British Council in collaboration with CONCYTEC was highlighted. These documents, called toolboxes, are available on the Vínculate platform, launched by CONCYTEC, a few months ago.
